Our History

The Istorlet adventure began in 1973, when the Nautical Center opened its doors in Havre-Aubert, on the Magdalen Islands.

From the outset, the idea was to offer visitors and residents a unique experience rooted in the sea and the outdoors, allowing everyone - young and old alike - to experience the beauty of the archipelago in an authentic way.

Over the decades, L'Istorlet has built a solid reputation, both locally and provincially. The center not only offers summer water sports camps for young people, but also activities and services for everyone - sailing, sea kayaking, windsurfing, sailing boats, accommodation, and more.

Today, L'Istorlet remains true to its values: sharing, adventure, respect for nature, and immersion in the culture of the Islands. We continue to innovate in our offerings, forge ties with the community, and ensure that every stay - whether for a day or a week, for youth or adults -becomes a source of inspiration, memories, discoveries, and joy.
